The Baylorr P55 is the largest-capacity rebar bending machine in the Baylorr range, bending round bars from 6mm to 50mm and deformed bars from 6mm to 42mm. A 5.5 kW (7.5 HP) motor drives the working disc at 5–10 rpm on 380V three-phase supply — a deliberately low, high-torque bending speed, because large-diameter steel needs sustained force through the bend rather than speed. Spring-back is the problem this machine is built to solve. When a bar bending machine lacks the torque for the diameter it is working, oversized bar partially returns toward its original shape after the disc releases, and the finished angle drifts out of tolerance. The P55 delivers the torque required to hold 42mm deformed bar through a full high-angle bend and produce a consistent, repeatable result. For fabricators working to tight bar schedule tolerances on structural steel reinforcement, that consistency is the specification that matters. This steel bar bending machine is specified on large infrastructure and civil engineering projects where 40–50mm reinforcement is standard rather than exceptional: bridge piers and abutments, pile caps, transfer slabs, raft foundations, deep basement walls and heavy industrial bases.
