Product Description

The Baylorr BAY-BC600 is a 600mm wet block cutting machine with a maximum cutting depth of 200mm and a maximum cutting length of 700mm. A 4 kW motor drives the 600mm blade at 1,400 rpm on 380V three-phase supply, with a 25.4mm blade bore. Cutting is wet, fed by a submersible pump, which is what allows sustained production cutting through dense material. Wet cutting is not an optional refinement on a block cutting machine of this capacity — it is what makes 200mm depth achievable. Water cools the blade segments, flushes cut material from the kerf, and suppresses the silica dust that dry cutting generates. Dry cutting at this depth overheats the blade, glazes the segments and shortens blade life dramatically, quite apart from the respiratory hazard. The submersible pump feed means the operator sets the machine up once and cuts continuously rather than stopping to manage cooling. The 200mm cutting depth and 700mm cutting length cover the material that defeats smaller cutters: concrete blocks in full thickness, kerbstones, heavy paving slabs, thermal and hollow blocks, and precast elements requiring trimming on site. Masonry contractors, paving and civils crews, and landscaping contractors across the UAE use machines in this class where a manual splitter cannot handle the thickness and a hand-held saw cannot hold the line. Cut accuracy is the other reason to use a bench block cutter rather than a hand-held saw. The blade runs on a fixed guided path and the material is supported on the bed, so cuts come out square and to dimension across the full 700mm length — which matters on exposed blockwork, kerb runs and any finished surface where a wandering cut line is visible in the completed work. For lighter paving work, the manual Baylorr BAY-IC40 interlock cutter splits blocks up to 400mm wide and 5–10cm high with no power or water needed, and is quicker at the laying face. For steel rather than masonry, the BAY-FA355 cold cut saw handles sections and profiles spark-free. Paving and kerbing work also pairs with Baylorr plate compactors and tamping rammers for base preparation.
