After the bull float, after the bleed water is gone, when the concrete will support an operator's weight without leaving a deep footprint. First pass with float blades to flatten; second pass (later) with finish blades for the dense low-porosity surface.
Mid-size slabs — villa floor slabs, light industrial floors, small commercial slabs, pre-cast yard work. The 900 mm disc covers ground efficiently for one-operator finishing. For very large industrial slabs, ride-on trowels are more efficient.
Typically two — first pass with float blades when the slab will just support the trowel, second pass with finish blades once the surface has set further. Three passes for premium high-spec finishes.
Petrol is standard for UAE work because mains power isn't always reliable on slab sites and because the engine handles dust well. The BAY-FLO900-R is petrol. Electric variants are available on request.
Blade life depends on slab abrasiveness, finish target, and operator technique. A blade set typically covers a few thousand square metres of finishing work. We keep replacement blades in stock.
For mid-size industrial floors yes. For very large floors (warehouse and distribution centres), ride-on trowels with twin or quad rotors are more efficient. We can quote ride-on alternatives if needed.
