The Baylorr CM500 is a 500-litre concrete mixer with 400 litres of usable mixing capacity, turning at 26 rpm, available with either electric motor or engine drive. At 370 kg the frame holds position through repeated loading cycles, and the extra drum volume over the 350-litre model changes what the machine can realistically keep up with on site. Batch size is the decision this cement mixer is built around. A 400-litre mixing capacity means fewer cycles for the same volume of concrete — which on a continuous pour is the difference between the mixer keeping pace with the placing gang and the gang waiting on the mixer. For slabs, raft sections and precast runs where concrete has to arrive steadily rather than in bursts, the larger drum removes the bottleneck. The 26 rpm drum speed is unchanged from the smaller model and holds the same cascade mixing action, so batch consistency does not suffer for the increased volume. The CM500 sits in a specific commercial gap: pours too large for frequent small batching, but still below the volume where ready-mix delivery makes financial sense once minimum load charges, pump hire and waiting time are counted. Villa slabs, boundary and retaining walls, ground beams, larger precast runs, screed and blinding layers all fall in that range. Motor or engine drive is specified at order.
